  • Jasmine Green Tea: This is the base of our mocktail, and its delicate floral notes are key. If you can’t find jasmine green tea, regular green tea will work too, but you’ll lose some of the floral magic.
  • Lychee: The unique sweetness and floral aroma of these little fruits will have you saying “ah” with every sip. You can use fresh lychee (peeled and pitted) or canned lychee (with some of the syrup for extra sweetness).
  • Lime Juice: A splash of lime adds a welcome tartness that cuts through the sweetness and balances the flavors.
  • Sparkling Water: This gives our mocktail a delightful fizz, making it extra refreshing on a hot day.
  • Simple Syrup (Optional): If your lychee isn’t sweet enough or you prefer a sweeter drink, add a touch of simple syrup.

  1. Brew the Tea: Steep 1 jasmine green tea bag in 8oz of hot water for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool completely. (Tip: Make a big batch of tea beforehand if you’re planning a beach party!)
  2. Lychee Love: In a shaker, muddle 2-3 fresh lychee pieces (or use 1 tablespoon of canned lychee with 1 tablespoon of syrup).
  3. Get Juicy: Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice (about 1/2 tablespoon) and a splash of simple syrup (optional) to the shaker.
  4. Chill Out: Pour the cooled jasmine green tea into the shaker with the lychee mixture and fill it with ice. Shake it up for about 30 seconds to get everything nice and chilled.
  5. Fizz it Up! Strain the mocktail into a glass filled with fresh ice. Top it off with sparkling water and garnish with a lime wedge and a lychee for that extra beachy touch!
